Fragrance samples and decants of Maksim Perfume Rock Salt. Made with the highest quality natural ingredients, it smells like a minerallic wet salty rock that’s been dried in the sun, but then has a comforting creaminess to it (I think from the Orris butter + sandalwood).
Top Notes: Bergamot, Petitgrain, Green Mandarin, Elemi
Heart Notes: Mastic Resin, Ambergris, Beeswax Absolute, Orris Butter, Labdanum Absolute, Salt Accord

Olfactory Description:
The Last Stop of the Journey
Rock Salt captures the feeling of arriving at the end of a long road through the Byzantine world. A scent of heat, white stone, mineral water, salt on skin, and the quiet luxury of finally stopping.
The opening is dry, bright, and sunlit. Bergamot, petitgrain, green mandarin, and elemi create a bitter citrus freshness, like the first light over warm limestone after weeks of travel through mountains, olive groves, trading towns, and stone gates.
As the scent settles, the fragrance becomes mineral and skin-like. Mastic resin, ambergris, beeswax absolute, orris butter, labdanum, and salt accord create the feeling of stepping barefoot onto white terraces near Hierapolis. The stone looks like snow, but feels warm under the body. Mineral water moves softly over the rock, washes away the dust of the road, and leaves salt drying slowly on skin.
In the drydown, Rock Salt becomes warmer, smoother, and more sensual. Sandalwood, amyris, Vetiver Haiti, and Benzoin Siam leave a soft trace of sun-warmed skin, dry wood, and golden mineral light. The journey becomes still. No roads. No distance left to cross. Only water, stone, light, and arrival.
The final impression is clean, dry, mineral, and quietly sensual. A fresh fragrance made for heat, but never blue, aquatic, sporty, or basic.
Rock Salt feels like salt turned into memory: warm, mineral, skin-driven, and shaped by the quiet luxury of arrival.
